Applications are submitted online through our secure resident portal. The process is straightforward: complete the application, consent to a background and credit check, and provide proof of income and rental history.
N° 02 · Application Process
Browse available rentals on our website or contact us at (916) 226-4853 to ask about current and upcoming vacancies in your preferred market. We will match you to properties that meet your criteria.
Apply online through the resident portal. You will need: a government-issued photo ID, proof of income (pay stubs, bank statements, or employer letter), contact information for your current and prior landlords, and consent to a credit and background screening.
HomeRiver Sacramento conducts credit, criminal background, income, and rental history review for every applicant. We apply consistent, objective screening criteria. We do not discriminate on the basis of any protected class. Decisions are typically made within 1-3 business days.
Approved applicants receive a lease agreement for electronic signature. Security deposit and first month's rent are collected prior to move-in. A move-in inspection is conducted and documented before keys are released.
